Bought just 1 btl at Costco - which usually doesn’t make it into my cellar. I was surprised and impressed. I drink a lot of CDP. Drinks older than it is, fruit is open, tannins subdued. I didn’t get any barnyard. 90% Grenache. I’ll probably buy more. A great Tuesday night wine.

This is a blend of several of the areas finest Pinot vineyard properties - including some very close to the winery itself. If this is an "entry level" wine - all wineries should be so lucky. It is a fantastic value for such a quality wine. Perhaps the least "Burgundian" of this winemakers offering, the bottle still offers a beautiful nose of fresh cherries, a mouthful of ripe fruit and a wonderful, long finish. For the wine friends of mine that don't yet have full appreciation of single vineyard complexities, I'll offer this as a way to lure them into the beauty of Oregon Pinot Noir. Tremendous value.

Please, but enjoyed throughout a 3 hour evening. I opened in my cellar and barely had the cork out and the whole cellar filled with funk - which I love. It was almost like the glass had a built in blower. The wine evolved greatly ove the next three hours - becoming more velvety and lovely. Hints of blueberry and candied cherries with a 30 second finish. Possibly the most enjoyable and complex Syrah I have ever enjoyed. I have two more bottles so my friends better be very nice.

5/16/2015 7:39:00 AM - Hi,
Do you have any more bottles of the 1984 Jordan in your cellar? We were contacted by a terminally ill man whose dying wish is to go on a big golf vacation and drink a full vertical of Jordan with his friends. That's the last vintage they have left to procure, and we don't have any at the winery. They are willing to purchase the bottle.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Lisa Mattson
