I remembered this wine as being fairly dirty with Brettanomyces when I bought it at the tasting room, but it has aged gracefully. On the nose, like a N. Rhone Syrah made with CNdP clone grapes. Meatier, and more truffle than N.Rhone. A Little bit leathery and cleaned up aromatically. Nice, with light to medium bodied flavors of black cherry, peppercorn, smoke and beef fat with good concentration for the overall weight. Thoroughly enjoyable and better than remembered.

Soft, round lower alcohol. Drinking great right now but less structured than some vintages. Great with steak Christmas dinner with supper club.
