Quick decant and pour. Initially tight, this opened into a completely enjoyable wine, but it flirts with being too soft, too sweet and too oaky. Typical napa fruit with limited secondary characteristics - maybe a hint of milk chocolate. It's easy drinking, but it's not really special.
1 hour decant, consumed over 4 hours. Typical valley fruit, notes of blueberry pie - great ripeness without being too sweet. Strong graphite note on the nose and palate early, harmonized over time. Well integrated tannins. Extremely concentrated, great mouth feel.
