Exactly what I expect from the Woodcutter's; rich, dense, and ridiculously fruity. Tannins are very soft, acidity is healthy, and the grapey-plummy jamminess lingers on the palate. Wanted to enjoy this one more time before the weather gets too hot.

A solid Bordeaux, the merlot is definitely showing itself well in this blend. Perfectly balanced, great soft and elegant body and finish. Cherry and red fruit flavors round everything out. Very nice.

Nose is incredibly rich with a smoky aroma, oak lends a certain nuttiness to the mix. Body is full, super rich, and pretty well balanced. The feel is almost creamy on the mid palate, with a soft, average length finish. Very nice.
