Kind of a fun wine. Evidently the winery threw in a little Muscat from the field and supposedly not really intended. This wine ended up having a little butter to it with some oak, but not overpowering. Very yellow in the glass and the Muscat gave it a nice creamy finish but not at all like some of the Chardonnay Bombs out there.
In the end it was a bit of a nice surprise and I wish I had picked up more. Nice error on the Vintner's part...

Mild to mid weight cabernet. Classic Andrew Will hand made wine. This is a well balanced cab that pairs with a meal without over powering oak or fruit. Driniking nice now.

Solid dark color, lots of Cherry on the nose and the Merlot comes out. It is a smoother and Silkier blend than a normal California Cabernet. Tannins are not at all heavy now and it is drinking nicely. I'd describe it as more up front fruit again than a Napa style cab and paired well with a midly salted NY Steak Salad. Pretty nice but I'd drink it now and for a few more years. It would probably go well with any sweeter style red BBQ meat. I think it would get lost with Spicy Mexican.
