Amazing. Don’t know if it’s on the upswing, prime or downswing. But tasted great. Complex, tobacco, granite but still a good amount of fruit present. Must try.

Might have been past it’s prime, however this was my first “aged” white wine, so I have no baseline to compare as to what aged whites should taste like. It was bought from the store (SAQ) by me and stored in a cellar so I know it was handled properly.
Nose: lots of honey, and some flower. Eyes: beautiful gold colour, almost looked like an aged Sauternes. Palate: fruit seemed completely gone. Notes of honey as the nose suggested was very present. Lots of minerals as secondary. Had a slight wet asphalt taste. The taste would last for a long time in the mouth.
Overall very good. I was expecting more of a wow factor considering the price tag and the reputation. However this might be because of my limited experience in aged whites, or because it was simply on its decline.

Good and has great potential. I fear I opened it too early. Needs at least another year.
