lighter bodied and less jammy than usual for This wine, less tannins than usual for Seghesio. If like lighter bodied and slightly sweeter Zin then this is perfect. Overall very good, drinks best own its own but holds up to food as well. Does have multiple layers of flavor with nice finish, well worth the $20 price at Costco, much much better than sub$15 Zins but also lacks some of the depth and character of pricier offerings form Seghesio

Predominantly tart cherry, almost sour when first opened but smoothed out with a little air time. Not as fruity as expected for California Pinot but also not earthy like Oregon, somewhere in the middle. Overall nice balance of tannin and acid, can drink on its own or with food. It is a long ways from being as good as the Cherry Pie from same maker but good for the price of $16 at Costco if you don't mind tart cherry flavor.

This one has the tartness of the 3 vineyard blend without the sweetness. We prefer the 3 vineyard blend over thus since 3 vin has both the sweet and the tart flavors. Overall nice drinking with or without food but not the poolside quaffer that the 3 vin is.
