Winemaker's Notes Initial burst of vanilla, backed up by citrus, hints of cardamom, minerality. Sweet oak notes, creme brulee, tropical fruit on the finish.

Oak-dominated berry and cassis aromas are full but not complex or intriguing. This Mencía has a direct palate with needling tannins and a lot of oak resin. Woody, toasty flavors of blackberry and dark plum finish with flavors of mint, mocha, coffee and chocolate. Drink through 2018.
