I found the wine overly acidic for a brawling Barosaa Shiraz. Dark, stewed fruits on the nose and palate. Fairly one dimensional. Not as fat and deep as I hoped. Nice to drink for $20/btl but definitely not $50/btl. No way.

Floral aromatics and flavors. Honey, and citrus and stone fruits. Fresh acidity yet a weighty palate, especially as the wine gets to room temperature. No detectable oak. True to the variety, and very enjoyable. Will be buying again.

This wine only garnered 90 points on the second day after opening. On the first day, after opening and decanting for a couple hours, the wine was undrinkable. It was disjointed, thin, and a bit acrid. After a couple sips I poured the wine back in the bottle and corked it.
The next day, the wine was all put together and fleshed out. Mouthfeel plumped up and fanned out on the palate. Dark blackberries and stewed fruit flavors and aromas. Nothing incredibly complex but absolutely delicious and a pleasure to drink.
