Classical finesse wine by Angelus. Complex and earthy in mid palate. But not much surprise. Not in its peak. Should wait for another 7 years for further development.
Very large scale wine. Still a bit edgy in this moment. Turning good after 2-3 hrs decanting. First 2 hrs the oak influence is prominent and minty on the nose. After adequate breathing, the cocoa nose is so sexy and the finesse Merlot character comes out. Best of the wine in the Angelus dinner with Carolie Bouard. Can keep at least 10 years.

Floral and vanilla nose. Good acidity and volume, but rather on the light side as a Meursault. Paired well with oily fishes and mutton. Chinese dishes also OK . Will put all the remaining to the cellar and wait for another 6- 7 years.
