Tastes of blueberry and blackberry, kind of light. Not much of a finish.

Aroma is blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry. Tastes of light berries, blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry. Nice berry finish.

Aroma is cherry. Taste pleasent with boysenberry and some cherry. Finishes with cherry/berry. Not real exciting for me as a Zin.

7/2/2020 2:35:00 AM - Paul thank you for your comment, yes I used to get their wines but then they fell out of favor for awhile and have not been back, my wine tasting trips to Paso are curtailed due to my wife's Alzheimer's. Have you ever tried Gelfand which is on the east side, reservations only but his wines are all big fruit and alcohol with the fruit being big enough to mask the high alcohol and most are rated in the 90's, check them out on cellar tracker. If you have never tried a Rafanelli Zin, his is exceptional with a occasional off vintage. If you are in the area, near Granite Lion Cellars my small vineyard is about one block away from theirs. I would be willing to pop open one or two for tasting if you can't find and I would like your opinion on my homemade wines.
