Pepper element dominant on the nose, some sweet briary fruit. Same follows through on palate, finishing with slightly grippy but inoffensive tannins. Likely by the time the tannins mellow, the acid and fruit will be a bit faded. Could make it a couple years though. Enough juicy fruit to understand why it gets a Parker 90. Medium bodied, which is nice.

Still. At $11, a remarkably drinkable and food-pairable-with wine, considering what one would get out of, say, California at the same price.

Perhaps this is pricier in MA than other markets - retails around $40. A bit high at this price but under $30 would be a great wine. Friendly, easygoing nose leaning more on the red fruit side of Cab, with the exception of a distinct blueberry element. Sweetness apparent on the nose follows through on the palate - not jammy, but bright and easy drinking. Rather smooth going down, ends with slightly grippy tannins, but all things considered, pretty gentle for a young Napa Cab. Crowd pleasing style - the blonde at the party.
