Actually bought this to use in making spaghetti sauce, but had to do something with the remaining half bottle, so we drank it. It's a pleasant, well rounded red blend for every day. Drinkable now, smooth and balanced - not too tannic or too fruity. It's not sophisticated, but I don't think most will find it offensive in any way. Best $7 red wine I've had in some time.

It's not a bad wine, but it's heavy tasting - too much sweet fruit. Don't see any aging potential - it's okay if you want a bold red that's ready to drink, but it's not enjoyable enough to buy it again.

Really nice merlot, probably close to it's peak. Well balanced, rather full flavor, and very smooth and rounded.
