In a blind tasting I would have said it is a sauvignon blanc. Edelflower, gooseberries, raspberries with touch of smoke and marshmellow. Special cabernet sauvignon made to keep the primary, almost rose character combined with elegant tannins and body. Tannins are nice but are there to remind you that you drink a red wine. ;-) Medium body, refreshing and exciting red that was intended for rose lovers. For my taste it's only an interesting experiment that lacks the complexity of a serious cabernet sauvignon.

Outstanding nose was the first thing that came to my mind. Dominantly fruity, primary nose with pears, flowers and apricots... but nothing else. A modern, almost new world variation of a riesling and not the German riesling that I would go crazy about. Light bodied but oenologically "enhanced" to become medium bodied with restrained acidity due to malo lactic fermentation. Nice overall balance with medium lasting finish but this wine lacks complexity of a classic German riesling. 2009. was far better! 82/100

Straw yellow with aromas of dry flowers, quince and chamomile. Pretty herbal but somehow restrained and not that expressive. A bit overdeveloped on the palate but also rich and full with noticeable sweetness. Definitely not dry. Very seductive riesling which left an impression that everyone must love it. Hm.. Drink now! 88
