"Cabernet Sauvignon is the most widely grown grape in the New World. Cabs from Chile have an elegance and earn great respect due to the complexity and diversity of characteristics, stemming from nuances of what the Chilean landscape gives to the grape."
"Thick skins lead to classicly high tannins, and strong red and black fruit-forward characteristics on both the nose and palate."

Tasting Note From the Producer: Once the Antis grapes are harves-ted by hand in 12 kg. boxes, they are culled on two selection tables, destemmed and placed into fermenting tanks. After a maceration of four to eight days, the wine is fermented with natural yeasts. The post-fermentation maceration lasts between 15 -18 days, allowing a better extraction of firm round Maipo tannins and structure. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is conserved for about 18 months in a mix of first second and third use French barrels from Sylvain & Saury coopers, allowing for greater complexity. This wine is then aged for at least another 18 months in the bottle before release.
Tasting note From The Producer On the nose Antis has an austere complexity with mature dark fruits accompanied by coffee and tabacco. In the mouth the wine has a round full-force attack that is firm and persistent full of blackberries and currants. Note that opening this wine one hour before serving is highly recommended.
