Balanced sweetness and apricot, Vanilla flavors. No bitterness or aftertaste. Butterscotch flavor as the second glass proceeded. Vacuum pumped and no change in taste quality after one week being opened. I guess the Chateau Climens is next and then Chateau d' Yquim.

Glass stopper and tasting right out of the bottle, no waiting, no decanting, clear rich red rose color, a fresh bright Pinot. Pretty classy for its age.

Not as sharp alcohol wise as the central coast 2007 pinot, smoother light to medium cherry taste with hint of nut, as the gentleman said Sous Bois, earthy hint, a little thicker like a cab but no after tast or tanin taste. Not the Syrupy tast like the younger tasting 2007. (my tasting is right out of the bottle) Almost a Almond hint. Very well developed IMHO. Worth the wait and the time. Pleasant salivation post tasting. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are thin. There is no sediment in the bottle. The legs are fast.
