After a 4 hour decant - Beautiful wine with deep red garnet color. The nose is expressive with notes of chocolate, coffee bean, and dark red fruits and hint of vanilla. The mouth feel is soft with some tannins. The taste is rich and ripe with favors of coffee, bitter chocolate, dark raspberry, cherry and hint of eucalyptus. A nice lasting finish. This wine can still go another 7-10 years. Score 93 points

2004 Altamura Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark garnet red in color. The nose presents smell of dark red fruits, chocolate and hint of coffee. The mouth feel is rich and lasting with medium tannins. Decanted and tasted at opening, 3hr and 24 hours. Tasted the majority at the 24 hour mark and it was fantastic! Intense flavors of black cherry jam, huckleberry, milk chocolate, bitter chocolate and slight hint of lavender. A fantastic wine that could age another 10 years. score 93

1999 Cosentino Winery Mcoz Meritage Red

Garnet red in color with no bricking. Very aromatic with notes of cherry, huckleberry and black jelly bean. Medium tannins with medium acidity. Tasting revealed notes of cheery, boysenberry, dark fruits wit subtle hint of dark chocolate and leather. Still young and should age another 10 years. Score 94
