Some coke in the nose, plums and prunes, some pepper an herbs. There is a fresh, bright fruit and some floral notes. In the mouth there is cherry and plums again, licorice, dark olives.
I love the duality of dark, peppery and olive notes and the bright fresh fruit.
The wine needs air, lots of it, but for 16 bucks this is a must try.

A lot of (christmas)spices, boiled down fruits, blackberries, dark chocolate and wood. There is a well integrated acidity (it's not a very acid wine). This is intensive stuff and is at the same time easy to drink and complex.
