Drink now, past peak. Cork remains in good condition, color beginning to fade but looks intriguing with hints of amber edges. Legs deminishing. Aroma faded. Alas, flavor flat and lacking. Really expected more of this vintage and vineyard based on other Fisher wines. I am a Fisher fan, hold about 20 cases of their wines currently, this is my first disappointment. I suspect it was far better earlier, the drinking range is far overstated in my opinion. I cellared the bottle in a concrete cellar at ambient San Francisco temperatures since purchase from Fisher when first released. Still have three more bottles of this wine, hoping they are better.

I really love W-S wines, but not this one. Something was definitely wrong, I am not expert enough to be to describe it other than to say as one who drinks at least one bottle of W-S pinot noir per week this was bad. Perhaps it was bacteria. The bottle was fine (no sediment issues or other obvious flaws) and cork was in excellent condition, minimal penetration up the long cork. Odor seemed slightly off, rather sharp. The wine was purchased direct from W-S and cellared in a concrete vault in San Francisco. I am hoping the other bottles of this I purchased are better, this was definitely not up to W-S standards. It now goes to be used as a ~$70 cooking wine.

WAY past it’s peak. Few bubbles left, dark color with Carmel flavor. Still drinkable as an odd sort of wine.
