Wow. Nose showing barnyard, iron, meat. The acidity hits your tongue with a zing like it’s a high end burgundy. Tastes incredibly fresh. The balance of fruit and acidity seems perfect. Resolved tannins medium body and pleasant finish. For me this is near perfect but Pegau is among my favorite. I believe the storage on this was perfect so that probably impacts how great this is.

Cherries and red fruit on the nose. Palate pretty simple but balanced acidity and tannin. Moderate drying finish. I love CDP so I enjoyed it but I believe I paid less than $40 for this so it’s a good drinker with food mid week. Would not pay MSRP for it. I have 6 and will follow over the next few years.

Very enjoyable. Vanilla oak certainly dominates the nose. Plenty of fruit on the palate although nothing overly precise that I can lay out. Just enough acidity and tannin to give structure and balance. Finish comes back to the vanilla oak. Not the most complex but really enjoyable and easy to drink for me. Maybe better in a few years if the oak integrates but no need to wait if the mold strikes.
