An exercise in one-dimensionality. This is a very acidic variety and that is the dominant feature of the wine. Lots of lemon and crisp finish, dry, light on its feet. To me, rather enjoyable, and definitely cries out for food. $13.95 " LCBO.

This is sauvignon blanc for sure. The nose blasts the typical varietal aromas, perhaps aided by the carbonation. Tight and focused, lots of fruit to be had, probably would drink best by itself before a meal. Unfortunately the sparkle is a little off and weak. The lees contact for this wine was minimal, I'd like to taste this wine after it spends more time with the yeast. A neat glass of wine, but I'd reach for a really good still sauvignon blanc at this price instead.

Strong and full bodied. Fairly serious stuff for the price tag.
