Color is a clear, medium ruby with a thin watery rim
On the nose, it is clean, with medium-intensity ripe red and black berry fruit, a floral note, and warm spice (clove).
A sweet ripe fruit attack, medium-plus body with flavors of red and black berries. Medium-plus acid, with nice depth on the mid-palate: warm earth, a hint of forest floor, bramble. Tannins are ripe and grippy, turning slightly drying on the finish. Finish is long and minerally.
I think this will reward aging- the overall impression is a well-balanced, complete wine.

Stored at 55 degrees since release. Color is a medium lemon, appears younger than its age. Nose is fresh, with aromas of honeysuckle, golden apple, suggestions of warm earth and shitake. Round on the attack with ripe fruit similar to the nose, medium to full bodied with relatively high acid. A very long finish of both lemon and minerals. Overall this was delicious and surprisingly youthful, multifaceted and well balanced.

Perfectly mature, round and full, with just enough acidity. Golden yellow fruit aromas and flavors. Not likely to improve but not over the hill just yet. Still pleasant to drink, but I wish we'd opened it a bit sooner.
