Assemblage 80 grenache 20% Syrah avec élevage de 14 mois en fût français et américains. Nez de cerises noires et accents d'épices poivrées et terreux. En Bouche : Attaque puissante et très fruité (fruits noirs surtout mûre et cerise fraîche), notes de poivre, torréfaction, quelques notes herbacée (menthe fraiche ou basilique ?) avec un léger goût de chêne mais sans trop. Finale longue, une acidité modérée, et les tanins étaient secondaires à l'acide. Assez onctueux Je recommande ce vin en accompagnement avec et à décanter à l’avance car sa structure est assez lourde à la longue (après plusieurs verres on s’en lasse rapidement). Conclusion : excellent vin à 11€, sa structure permet un certes potentiel de garde en cave, à boire maintenant même si 3 ans en cave lui permettrons de mieux s’affiner. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable. Note : 89/100

At 46 years old This classy mature Rioja is incredibly elegant but declining. Tasted the wine After 3 hours and not decanted Aspect : Clear, bricking garnet orange/brown colour Nose : Very classy mature Rioja from 70s, Dried fruit (prune), liquorice, Cedar, hint of truffle, nutmeg. Taste : Mild body – red fruit and spicy (Cinnamon) on a very fresh palate. Subtle and silky palate, tannins completely integrated, medium acidity + Hint of oxidation. Recommendation : 90+ Drink now but let him breath before.

At 24 years old this masculine and refined priorat is fully ready. Tasted the wine After 3 hours and not decanted Aspect : Clear, deep garnet color (orange>Brown), a bit of sediment Nose : Green Pepper and toasted coffee + oak, smoke & ripe red fruit Dark forest fruits Taste : Wine is dry, intense and high tannins perfectly integrated. Ripe dark berries and prunes, earthy notes (forest floor & mushrooms), oak, spices. Finish : Very Very Long and dry Recommendation : 92+ Drink now but let him breath before/ can be decanted.
