Dream wine: 2010 "Witt's End Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir
I think about wine for about two to three hours a day usually. I live outside of Philo in Anderson Valley and in Knights Valley. Harvesting mushrooms is one of my other favorite things. Gotta love where I live! Worked in the industry in one way or another for about six years (retail, Distribution and two harvests in Oregon). I have a tiny 3/4 ac pinot noir vineyard in the "deep end" of Anderson valley that is amazing. I really have a hard time setting wine down. I drink it way to young most of the time. sometimes I drink 99 point wines right out of the bottle...

Notes from rather foggy memory- drank july '08
opened LATE, like late at night, 3 a.m.?
    - thick, huge blueberry pie. That's what i remember most, massive Blueberry. Great feel, creamy. Can't really remember heat on the nose or in the mouth. Aussie for sure. Can't say mush else. It was great. Left it out in the bottle for a day uncorked, better with more air, day two, still amazing. Comparing it to other aussie shiraz I'd say 96+, prolly won't open other bottle for a couple years...
