Hands down the most Pinot Noir type of Grenache Syrah I could ever even imagine. In fact, I checked the bottle to make sure I was drinking the right wine. This is a pinot parading as something else. In color, texture, mouthfeel. I should say California pinot, but PINOT. Unbelievable. Overripe cherry dominates, followed by vanilla, and the terroir of the Walla comes thru, but this is a funny wine all right. Drinking now. No reason to hold onto this one at all. Im gonna check the bottle again........

True to the region and the varietal. Light to medium in body, dusty cherry and some dark fruit with vanilla notes on the finish. Pleasant, but was hoping for more. Nice lunch time wine.

Tasted at a local winebar, then quickly picked up half a case. This is a very balanced wine, with well integrated tannins. The nose is almost jammy, with hints of cocoa and currant. The palette is again fruit forward, with lots of plum and dark cherries. There is a pleasant, rounded finish, which is not at all tannic. At $15 per bottle, this is a great every day drinking wine, and its drinking now. No reason to wait.
