A very well integrated and interesting blend that is drinking perfectly at this time. Clove, pepper, vanilla, tabaco and light floral notes on the nose. Chocolate covered cherries & plum come through strong on the palate with well balanced tannins to finish. Very happy we still have two bottles left

Unfortunately for us, this wine was way past it’s prime and has gone bad. We opened 2 bottles last night, just to check that the first bottle wasn’t a fluke, and both bottles had indeed overaged. The color was off, there was no fruit or vibrancy left. If you still have this in the cellar I would check it with a Corovin or just open it and see if it has any life left.

We used our Coravine to give one of our bottles a taste. A great steak or hearty burger would pair really nicely with this wine. We’ll definitely give our other bottles a few more years to mature and give it a solid 92 points now.
Very Coombsville style Cab, which we enjoy. Strawberry jam and creamy leather on the nose. Sweet hot chocolate, smoldering Fire/wood chips, with a hint of minerality and a taste of Coombsville earthiness on the palette.
