Still vibrant colour making it look much younger than 12 years. A little sharp / acidic for me. Opened an hour before and drank over 3 hours with very little development. Despite being the same grapes this had very little in common with Chateauneuf du Pape - limited nose and despite the deep colour felt thinner

Deep colour darkening but no bricking. PnP and a little cool when first served and underwhelmed. Opened up over 3 hours. Kept a half bottle and drank the following week. Suspect peak was in middle but general impression was this has a few years to peak or open a few hours early. Spice on the nose, hint of some tertiary notes. Similar on the palate- spice and dark fruit, still a bit of mouth coating tannins but reasonably soft, medium acidity

Great QPR. Opened an hour prior to drinking then drank over 2 hours with not a lot of development.slightly translucent purple in the glass. Mild nose - a little spice and vanilla which carried through on the palate with mainly red fruit. Medium bodied with some acidity and tannins that were noticeable but not overpowering. Overall an easy drinking wine
