Opened for Mother’s Day among with a Saxum Bone rock ‘11. The fracture is at a really nice place right now, with blue and black fruits, Paso minerality and vanilla cola (almost root beer like) flavors with a touch of smoke, still very present tannin structure and acidity. Booker has a very distinct flavor profile in this wine that I have loved for many vintages. Bummed this was my last bottle. Will be bidding for another:)

First experience with Epoch and was not disappointed!! Decanted for one hour, but always sneak a taste. Very pretty nose purple flowers, crayon, good fruit and chalky minerality on palate. After open, fruit jumps to forefront with blackberry pie at first and even raspberry tones later. This wine has almost an electric color with good concentration while never feeling overpowering or sappy. Love the long mineral laced finish and pleasantly strong tannin structure. Definitely will not be opening another for another 1-2 years, but still so good right now!! Had with Charcoal lamb t-bone and chops. Perfect pairing.

Always an enjoyable wine. Focused raspberry with a little richness of dark cherry, vanilla, rose, little cinnamon spice and very faint/mellow earthiness way in back which comes forward with air. This wine for me is all about texture though. Flavors are all In check with mild acidity, but I was left thinking about the silky smooth texture and how great this wine always is for the price ($30 here in upstate New York).
