It's the first bottle I open. Very delicate wine with all its components very well-balanced. Very interesting texture, slightly buttery, nice acidity, hint of oak, something resembling peach in syrup. The nose is also very delicate, and agrees with the mouth. Looking forward to opening another bottle in a couple of years.

I wish I had more bottles of this wine. This is one of those cases where it pays to store a bottle for a number of years. The wine looks very young, almost no signs of aging. The nose is seductive, luscious. Black fruits and a touch of balsamic. The mouth is even better as the aromatic impressions are balanced by a very crisp acidity, which makes the wine fresh and elegant. The texture is very interesting, I'd guess mny would say that the tannins are too obvious. I like it like this, it matches with assertive food. Delicious wine, I wish I had more bottles.

Five years after harvest, it still gives great pleasure to drink this wine. This bottle showed it's worth your while to cellar this alvarinho. I am not going to say it was a transcendental experience; the nose was a bit shy and the wine lacked some body. However, there was still plenty of acidity and the mouth had notes of honey that were quite unusual. Overall, I think it's still a good idea to wait a few more years on the other bottle I have. These bottles have not been properly stored since the beginning, only for the past two years or so.
