Tasted at the winery and brought 1/2 bottle home. Nose is peppery with just a hint of smoke; good body for a CT wine. Lacks depth as the taste drops significantly from initial taste. Red Seraph is a blend of Merlot and St. Croix, however the smoky St. Croix is balanced well and barely detectable. Probably the best of the Sharpe Hill reds currently is offering.
