Tasted 2 bottles over a 4-hour period. Red and black fruits equaled in intensity by the herbal and loamy soil notes on the nose. The red fruits dominate with pine, rosemary, iron in the mouth. Finish is very short and this wine really feels like it's best days have passed by.

Plum, cocoa, coffee, currants, black tea and pine on the nose. The mouth- feel still has some noticeable tannin, but nicely smoothed out with the same flavors in the mouth as on the nose. Only let down by a lack of persistence on the finish. Drink up but I certainly feel it could hold for another 5 years. Enjoyed with steaks.

Cherry, touch of plum, cranberry, forest floor, cedar on the nose. Red fruits in the mouth, sangiovese varietal flavors predominate. Nice pine notes and a bit of length on the finish with hints of vanilla. A real surprise. Certainly not going to improve but is in a very nice spot right now. Pizza night
