Opened 1.5 hours prior to drinking. Mildly angry tannins right after opening that smoothed out nicely with some air. Nice black cherry, mildly earthy, tobacco. Looking at the winemakers site, this is a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 8% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot.

What a pleasant surprise this bottle was. Dark fruit nose and palate of mild earth (maybe a bit of smoke?) and some oak. Mildly angry that softened nicely with each passing glass. Goes down very easily, nice QPR. Pairs well with beef/pork and mild red sauces.
