Emerald yellow in the glass. Nose is golden delicious apple, orange and honeydew melon rounds it out. The palate is primarily peach apple and lemon with a nice touch of minerality and spice in the finish. Juicy acidity.

A luxe and diversified Portfolio (2017). Q1: Dark cherry, rich blackberry and baking spice meet the nose. Q2: Velvety fruits on the palate with cocoa and pleasant caramel tones from the virgin oak. Q3: Tannins are woven elegantly and don’t overpower the symmetry. The acidity is mild. Q4: Closing (finish) is long.

Patience reaps reward for this massive red. Black mahogany in the glass. Cassis and rich blackberry freshen up the dense bold aromatics and palate. The oak presents more on the nose than palate, coming with a touch of earthiness, rounding out the experience. Sharp refined tannins and a mild acidity make this a red-lover’s red.
