Lot of heat on the backend. Big artificial cherry coming through as a primary, similar to Chianti Classico as opposed to natural dark cherry like Bordeaux. A little tobacco but no chemically taste as is common in Tempranillo. Nice acid. Needs a nice 30-40 minute decant to really open up and smooth out. Could be cellared for 2-5 more years.

A very fruity, easy-going Mexican Viognier. Was very impressed. Gulpable, but still complex and enough acid to eat fatty tacos. Apricot, guava notes. Very nicely balanced with no sulfurous overtones.

Excellent wine. Unruly, wild, imprecise and spilling over with fruit flavor. This is too much for the refined palate, but a great gateway drug to introduce people to wine. Becomes better with air, but be careful, too much and it goes flat. Not meant for aging M- acid. I wanted to fat burger with this. Fun label too.
