I echo most of what the other reviewers have said. The impression here is concentrated dried fruits, plums, raisins and the like. The wine seems to have quite some residual suger which is also evident from the viscosity, even though the overly ripe and dried fruit aromas on the nose probably contributes to create an even greater impression of sweetness than what the residual sugar level would attribute in itself. I should probably have drunk the bottle a year or two back - the wine is now 7 years old and should likely not be stored much longer before it will start to taper off. Too sweet and ripe for my liking.

Now 8 years after the harvest, the wine is clearly past its peak. The wine was still enjoyable but the fruit has faded and given way to tertiary notes of age - for me, the note of solvents and nail polish remover was a bit too dominant. If you still have bottles of this vintage in the cellar, I would suggest to drink them quite soon.
