Bright dark ruby, medium intensity. Aromas of ripe blackberries, candied cherries, bubble gum. Secondary aromas of shale, chalk and pencil shavings. On the palate you are greeted by ripe red and black berries, followed by a faint pleasant hint of oak and earth.Tannins are refined and non obtrusive. A soft and medium finish with red fruit and spice rounded out by a taste of black pepper. well balanced and pleasant.

Dark ruby, the nose is intense, with new saddle leather, lilac, dark fruit and a hint of smoke. On the palate this wine is big, lots of body, dark plum, some dark ripe cherry, coca and coconut. The tannins are firm but gentle and waning to a delicate perfume. A fairly long finish with softening tannins and fruit ripening in your mouth. A very good wine. Will pair well with a hearty beef dish or osso bucco. Would recommend. 92pts.
