Red fruit, green, secondary notes of black tea, even anise/tarragon. Ample fruit immediately followed by rich savoriness, herbaceous. Tannins well-integrated after 1.5 hr decant.
Delicious wine, well worth price.

Powerful nose on this one, strong plum, vanilla-y but moreso straight oak, some baking spice.
Very juicy/acidic on the palate but not overwhelmingly so. Notes of tarragon, cinnamon, licorice, cedar. Fine tannins making this a very complete package and enjoyable with the steak frites I had.

Palate follows through with lavender, mushroom, stone, more plum/dark fruit and strawberry. Intense on the front palate but very integrated/complete, was perfect after a gentle 10 min decant. Less enjoyable as it warmed up though, a bit more astringent.
