Very pleasant drinking. For me this declassified Rhys Pinot is all about gentle fruit and silky texture rather than complexity or nuance. Drinking very well at present and for the next few years, though unlikely to improve much.

Beginning to show the secondary flavors and aromatics that I love in Dehlingher Pinot with a little age. Red fruits, bacon fat and forest floor with well integrated oak and lovely texture. Paired beautifully with pork tenderloin. My dinner companions and I kept swirling and sniffing throughout the meal. I think that this will continue to improve and will try another bottle in a few months (though it's going to be hard to wait).
