DELIGHTFUL pale pale ruby, a little hazy but also transparent, smells of stones marker pen red fruit more stones tastes of similar structured, sophisticated, elegant, gluggable i don't think i would have called it for a californian tasted blind: it never gives in to sweetness or lushness. HOWEVER there is an extent to which this *is* like a cartoon sketch of a jura wine- more vibrant and clearer, less real somehow, but not without its own subtleties i could drink A LOT of this and its qpr is *not bad* at about $30 // no need to keep its great now but like prolly has 5 years in it

TOO YOUNG like actually kind of unpleasant right now, but also serious in a way that is RARE among usa pinots, give it three years at least, honestly probably more like 8, and I think it will become something quite special

Oh boy this has aged great. I had it in c.2019 and it was lovely- fresh, crisp, resolute- but five years in bottle, wow, still the sauvignon flinty zing but also the semillon is going gangbusters- lanolin, pine nut, hay, linseed. Still a little tight, I'd hazard, has a few years yet in it, and I have one more bottle, but what development!
