A great wine, but unfortunately not worth its price tag I am afraid. Impressive use of oak: very well integrated and creamy, it adds welcome structure and power. Good balance from this very dry, hot, wine with notes of grapefruit, green apples and melon and a very long, spicy, savoury, alcoholic finish (ABV 14.5%!)

One of the best-value wines I have ever had the pleasure of drinking! Deep red, medium-to-full bodied with excellent balance: moderate acidity and soft, ripe, tannins. Chunky and inspiring aromas of dark cheries, damsons, pepper, leather and rich, sweet vanillean oak. The palate reinforces this with a minty, eucalyptus backbone and wonderfully long meaty finish. Hot, concentrated and rich, it is simply delicious!

Excellent value, delicious wine! Medium bodied with lovely minty, very drinkable ripe tannins. Dark forest fruits, eucalyptus, cherries abound on the nose. Great stuff.
