pale garnet, M+ nose of bright cherry, tea, cola, wet desert. M body, M+ acid, long finish. notes of bright tart cherry, raspberry, leather, cola, forest floor, backing spice. It's really a shame that this winery is gone and I don't know if the new owners even make wine.

Mehhhhh....too fruity, to jammy, not balanced and way to heavy for a Cab. Most likely to hot of a year. Almost port like in flavor. I don't understand all of the hype.

I was actually shocked! For the price and the age on this bottle, I was expecting bad wine. Not so much. Opened and poured immediately. Brick edges, but still surprisingly bloody red. Nose was muted. First taste soft with almost no undulation or interest. Let it open in the glass about 15 mins...second taste-Wow bright bing cherry, nice integrated balanced but soft wine. not a lot of tannin left, but very juicy and almost tart. Not much finish, but went excellently with our homemade pizza from our new pizza oven. We liked it enough to finish the bottle, but definitely past it's 'wow you' prime. If you have some left, pull it out and drink it now as a lunch or picnic or pizza wine.
