Excellent! Wasn’t completely expecting it to be as sweet as it was, as it’s not labeled VT or SGN, but very enjoyable nonetheless.
Overripe fruit and maybe a petrol-y note (but different than aged Alsatian Riesling) on the nose.
Ripe stone fruit, honeysuckle, chalkiness on the palate. Still a decent bit of acidity on the backbone.
I must say, the bottle I had held up exceptionally well. Despite the bottle being nearly 20 years old the cork was better than some 3-4 year old wines I’ve had lately.

Rich, tart, moderate sweetness, good complexity. A touch of skin tannin at the end. Acid is lower than I'd like, but that's my only complaint. Delicious and interesting.

IWFSC Governors Lunch (Takashi): Full golden color. full nose of rich yellos fruit and a hitn fo banana peel. Big yellow fruit with good structure and just a hint of butterscotch. This was very nice but they are certainly at or just passing their peak. Drink up.

Nearly identical to the last bottle, perhaps a touch less complexity.
Still holding on, but I can’t see this improving. Drink up.
