Light golden. There is an aroma of cooked corn, referred to by Mattshank as "cornbread". Yet it is indeed Chardonnay from Mâcon with no oak and softened/transformed via malolactic conversion. Well-made, tho at this point it may be undergoing a bit of bottle shock due to its youth. Finishes with a punch of acidity and a slight bitterness. I suggest holding it till later this year… perhaps for Thanksgiving? A fine value.

Nose: Cornbread aromas I typically get on these Macons. Palate: Great balance of crisp acidity and fresh apples. Nothing complicated. Just a solid, pure unoaked expression of French Chardonnay. Glad to have three more of these to pound on the deck this summer. 88+ points.
