Mature and ripe red cherry with forest floor and roasted meat aromas. Similar palate with a rustic character, but fully resolved and integrated tannins. Better today vs my previous bottle in 2015, which was at an “awkward teenager” phase. But this was Clearly losing steam after open 2+ hours.

Vibrant red cherry aromas with woodsy spice. Both red and black cherry flavors with some rugged edges and ever-so-slightly rustic character in a firm, masculine fashion. Upside from here.

Decanted 30 minutes before serving. slightly depressed cork with slight signs of seepage along the edge of the cork. Bright red cherry aromas with a bit of licorice and earth. Red cherry and raspberry flavors with fairly assertive acidity, modest tannins and lots of earthy character. There is a slightly harsh edge on finish, which might be rustic or might be bottle-specific related to its condition. I will have to try another bottle in the next few months.

Rugged red fruit with plenty of earth and tannins. This has a level of concentration I enjoy, but is slightly awkward right now.
