This has really decided to open it's doors for business and it's amazing the transformation that these lower classe and village producer wines will go through in a short few years. Three years ago I found this thin, unbalanced, and bitter. Now 8 years in, this bottle is very luscious and enjoyable. Popped and poured, followed for a couple hours. Still a nice dark violet color, lightly tinted legs. Spicy accents over dark berry, licorice, and hobby paint aroma. Palate has lengthened out and is now smooth and harmonious. Integrated tannins and generous acidity. Medium finish with a floral tail. 5+11+16+8 = 90

Slow O'd for 24hrs. Color unchanged from 7 months ago - almost fully opaque purple and thin legs. Simple and modest nose of red berry and a bit of underbrush. Palate gets a little darker with big plum and dry cherry flavor, good acidity and softening tannins. More expressive and better balanced than the last bottle. Clean, medium length finish. 5+9+14+6 = 84

Very dark purple, 95% opaque. Out of the bottle, the nose was completely lifeless. After an hour in the decanter I get faint plum, tobacco, currant, garrigue aroma. Palate is very light, almost empty with a slight struggle between the acidity and tannins at this point. There's no telltale TCA clues, but perhaps this is just really closed for business. no rating

Nose seems alcoholic, with ripe red fruit. Typical bone-dry $15 Bordeaux. Hint of sour cherries, tannic, a bit thin and fleeting on the palette.
