This was really good. It’s not all corvina according to the KL website. 15% etoh, and that shows a little bit it’s pretty tasty in a big lineup. The lower end quintarellis age incredibly well.

nose with fig, raspberry, plum, chocolate, spice cake. medium bodied with light acidity. silky smooth. medicinal heat. raspberry and strawberry fruits. mildly earthy. faint, fine tannin on a dry finish. expertly made but not as complex as I had hoped.
day 2- ho. amazing. plums and chocolate and so svelt. savory and citrus somehow. purple and red, shamelessly delicious. almost paradoxically medium and crunchy lifted- here again is the mercurial mouthfeel the quintarellis seem to have mastered.

Pronounced fruit forward on palate with mellow tannins. Mid to front palate that’s not dominated by acid. Seems to be in its optimal drinking window.
