Over the hill? No way. I bought this from Flickinger for $15, and am very glad I did. Not decanted. Clear ruby, with very little bricking. Nose and palate were a seductive mélange of dark cherry, raspberry and a touch of cinnamon. There was a strong coffee note in the initial glass that blew off. Silky and perfectly balanced, with very little tannin. Drink up, but it'll go for another 3 years. Tamarack DuBrul is so good every year. Wow!

Disappointed. The fruit was gone at opening. Let stand for a few hours. Still no luck.
