Beautiful deep nose with cassis, eucalyptus, sweet oak; medium body with strong acidity and flavors of blueberry, orange peel, mint, perhaps a hint of blood/salinity. Not heavy on the savory elements but for 14 bucks, no complaints! Very good QPR. Good with or without food.

Nose: Gorgeous sweet cassis and baked blackberry, quite a bit of eucalyptus, some spiced wood. On the palate: low-med tannins, quite fine and leathery, high acid, great focus and balance, finishes with an enveloping fuzzy warmth and lovely *mouthwatering* yet gentle acidity. Gorgeous mix of primary to tertiary character. This has aged delightfully and probably has a good few years before it starts to decline. Some may complain that this has too much acidity for the depth of fruit and texture, but I personally think this is a beautifully bright, elegant, measured, food-friendly Aussie Shiraz, and a stunning QPR. 13%, $18.

Medium red color. Aromas of black fruits, briar, licorice and eucalyptus. Ripe, medium-bodied fruit in the mouth with well-integrated tannins and very good depth and length. Not a blockbuster but a well-balanced, very good food wine at a good QPR.

A muted aussie shiraz w a bit more subtlety. I still gt bright blueberry but it's not overpowering alll in all, a decent value at $15.
