Nose is medium +, clean, with strong notes of fruit .
Palate is dry, no noticeable alcohol. Fruit character dominates the wine with a bit of a green herbal bit on the back, which must be some tannin? But otherwise the wine has medium acidity, medium - tannin, and a medium finish.
Overall this is very good wine for its lush, yet balanced youthful fruitiness. It displays complexity on the nose. It is juicy and a pleasure to drink. Works at $20.

On day 3 showing off what I would consider to be barrel -- raspberry with cinnamon and toast. But this isn't in new barrel. Lindsay notes that its pulling out the strawberry jam thing. And I would agree. So maybe leave your Valdiguie open for 3 days? Lindsay says strawberry and pear.

Dark red, fuschia (that's right, fuschia) with decent clarity. No legs to speak of. Nose of cranberries, rasberries and a touch of camphor. The palate has is reminiscent of cherries, almost like a morellino. The tannins are soft and dusty and are accentuated by some minerality. Medium acidity that could cut the fat on food but is gentle enough to be drinkable without a meal. Well worth the $17 I paid at Ben's store.

Seems to fit very well in my cru beaujolais tasting. More full, california fruit, but with the clip and vigour of the best Crus. Delicious. A deft touch of oak on the back of the palate?
