  • (BYO Blind tasting)
Mature, but not Premoxed nose. Dried apricots and honeysuckle. Candied nuts and honey. Mineral freshness.
Mature, still fresh palate. Fullish and toasty. Dried apricots and minerals. A bit four-square. But long satisfying finish.
Porbably better 3-5 years ago, the warm vintage delivers a rich but a bit clumsy wine.

  • Should have drunk these earlier. Premox? Dark yellow. Nose of sunshine and age- you could believe it was an average Californian or Australian Chardonnay. Saved by the palate which has pleasant honeysuckle characters with some toffee- but still managing to remain lean and quite long. Best with matched food. Hopefully the next will be better.

  • Very much ready to go. Has a bit of toasty development and ripe peach fruits mixing it up with honeysuckle. It is full and buxom with ripe orchard fruits and relatively soft acidity. There's some fig and cashew on the finish.

  • Very nice stuff indeed.
Sweet flowers on the nose, with stones and a hint of young oak present in the background.
Good crispy lemon and nuts on the palate.
A bit fleshy and big on the end, with some sweetness present in the citrus fruit, something that will level out with some more cellar time I believe.
Overall a very good Chassagne premier with good potential.
Still needs a bit more time imo, will gain from cellaring, but very enjoyable already.

  • Light straw yellow. Nose caramel, acacia blossoms, a little bit of citrus but not dominating, toast, butter, roasted hazelnuts, fine acidity. On the palate balanced, fine acidity well integrated, caramel, butter and toast again, citrus. Fine long asting finish. Again 91 points.
